DrillBit participated in the Regional Workshop on "Transforming and Empowering Libraries, LIS Professionals and Users: Emerging Trends in Libraries and Information Science", held on 3 May 2025 at the Development Management Institute (DMI), Patna, Bihar. The workshop was jointly organised by DELNET (Developing Library Network, New Delhi) and DMI, Patna.
The workshop brought together library and information science (LIS) professionals, researchers, and educators from the region to explore emerging trends shaping the future of library services and academic information management.
DrillBit's Participation
DrillBit was represented at the workshop by Mr Jayanna Belavadi, CEO, DrillBit India, who delivered a presentation on "AI-based DrillBit Plagiarism Detection Software". A DrillBit roll-up banner was also placed at the entrance of the workshop venue, highlighting key aspects of the platform including its service to 1100+ higher education institutions in India under the INFLIBNET Centre's Shodhshuddhi Programme, AI-generated text detection capabilities, and empanelment with AICTE NEAT 3.0.
